Charaxes tiridates FEMALE

Unlike their midnight blue male counterparts, the female Tiridates are diluted as far as color, black-brown dipped forewing tips, minimal white bands beneath, and tan-brown coloration with blue wisps of color along their hindwing edges. A Charax butterfly from Central Africa. Tiridates can be found flying in low evergreen forests, very strong fliers like other Charaxes butterflies alike. Limited stock available!
