CRJD-POP: The Snow Prince, Parnassius orleans ssp., is a small white butterfly from Eastern Asia. These small beauties come in variations, meaning their patterning and markings are different from one another, however, most carry thei red eyespots in their hindwings as well as darkened dull blue spotting. The forewings on this specimen is feintly striped with a faded design. This Parnassius is named after Prince Henri of Orleans.
